Holiday Shipping: Plan For 3–4 Weeks

Every order still leaves our warehouse in 1–2 business days. But from now through the holidays, carriers are moving record volume — so delivery can take 3–4 weeks.

Why your tracking may go quiet: your parcel changes hands between carriers, waits on export and import scans, and moves through holiday backlogs. Scans can pause for several days even while it's on the way. That's normal — it's still moving.

No update for 10 days? Email support@waylandtool.com with your order number and we'll chase it down for you.

      How ThreadSet™ Works

A drill adapter that sets M3 rivet nuts in seconds — on truck beds, trailers, brackets, panels and enclosures.

      1. Drill a hole in thin sheet metal.
      2. Thread a brass M3 nut onto the tip and push it into the hole.
      3. Press the drill straight in and pull the trigger — the nut clamps behind the metal.
      4. Bolt your part into the new M3 thread.

Each kit includes the M3 setting adapter plus M3 rivet nuts.

Trailer light back on in 10 minutes

Stripped M3 hole on the fender. Drilled it out, set a rivet nut with my cordless drill and bolted the light back on. Done before my coffee got cold.

      ★★★★★

      No back access, no problem

Enclosure panel with zero room behind it. Set the nut from the front, the flange sits flush and the bolt threads in like it came from the factory.

My drill does the work now

Press it straight in and pull the trigger — the drill pulls the nut tight. Way easier than squeezing a hand tool forty times on one job.

      ★★★★★

      Cheaper than a shop call-out

Truck bed rail needed new mounting points. $9.99 and the drill I already own beat paying a shop. Threads in and out clean every time.

      Fender liner fixed for good

Plastic clips kept popping out of my inner fender. Drilled out the holes, set M3 nuts and bolted it up. Hasn't moved since.

Clean threads in my control boxes

I build small steel enclosures. Flush brass threads look clean and hold every screw I throw at them.

      Saved a stripped mount

Stripped the thread on a bracket mount. Opened the hole up, set a nut and now it's stronger than the original.

      Easy on my first try

Never set a rivet nut before. Watched the video once and set six nuts in my truck cap that same afternoon.

Why ThreadSet™ Beats The Old Fix

Thin metal won't hold a screw for long, and a welder is overkill for one bracket. Here's how the three fixes stack up.

        Self-tapping screws Welding a nut
      Holds in thin metal
Bolt comes out and goes back in
      No welder, no sparks
      Done from the front
      Uses the drill you own
      Flush brass finish

      What does ThreadSet™ do?

It turns your cordless drill into a rivet-nut setter. You get strong M3 threads in thin sheet metal — no welding, no tapping, no access to the back side.

No. Push the nut into the hole and set it from the front. It clamps behind the metal on its own.

Any cordless drill or impact driver. The chuck grips the slim silver 1/4" hex shank — press the nut into the hole and the drill does the pull. No wrench needed.

Yes. ThreadSet™ is built for M3 rivet nuts and comes with the M3 setting adapter plus M3 rivet nuts.
